Tourists visiting Bhutan, except for Indian, Bangladeshi, and Maldivian citizens, must book their holiday through a Bhutanese tour company operator or one of their international partners.
A basic package trip includes accommodations, meals, guides, transfers, tourist taxes and visa fees. This tariff is set by the Government of Bhutan and must be paid by each traveler in order to ensure that they have a safe and enjoyable experience while visiting Bhutan.
